1. Who is running this
The promoter is RealBrand Consulting s.r.o., a company registered in the Czech Republic, with its office in Prague. Contact: jakub@realbrand.cz. In these rules "we" and "us" mean RealBrand Consulting s.r.o.
2. This is a skill based contest, not a lottery
The winner is chosen on merit by a human, using the judging standards set out in section 6. No name is drawn at random and no element of chance decides the outcome.
Entry is completely free. There is nothing to buy, at any stage, and buying something from us does not improve your chances.
3. Who can enter
You can enter if all of the following are true on the date you enter:
- You are 18 or over.
- You own, run, or are an authorised decision maker for a real, trading business.
- That business has a live, publicly reachable website.
- You are able to receive the prize lawfully where you live and where the business operates.
You cannot enter if you are a marketing agency, web design studio, or freelance designer or developer entering on behalf of your own agency business, or if you are an employee, contractor or supplier of RealBrand, or an immediate family member of one.
If you do not have a website yet, you cannot enter, because the prize is a rebuild of a site that already exists. There is a separate form on the entry page for businesses in that position. Filling it in is not an entry, it is a direct enquiry, and it is not judged against the entries.
Entry is open worldwide except where local law restricts or prohibits promotions of this kind. If we cannot lawfully award the prize where you are, we will tell you and choose another winner. We work in English and Czech, and the finished site will be delivered in a language we can work in.
4. How to enter
Complete the entry form at realbrand.cz/free-build. All fields marked as required must be answered. Two of the questions ask for at least three sentences each, and short or empty answers will be rejected.
You may also be sent to that form by a direct message on social media after commenting on one of our posts. Commenting is not itself an entry. Only a completed form is an entry.
One entry per business. If we receive more than one entry for the same business, we will keep the first one and ignore the rest. Entries made by a bot, script, or bulk tool will be disqualified.
5. Key dates
Entries close every week, on the closest upcoming Friday. For the round running right now:
- Entries close: the closest upcoming Friday at 23:59 Central European Time.
- That is: a few days from now.
- Winner chosen and contacted: by the Monday after.
The dates above update by themselves, so what you see on this page is the deadline that applies to you. Entries received after the closing time roll into the next round rather than being thrown away. We may pause or extend a round, and if we do we will say so here.
6. How the winner is chosen
Every valid entry is read by Jakub Gajdos. We shortlist, then pick a single winner. We judge on these things, in this order:
- How clearly you describe what your current website fails to do. Specific beats vague.
- How much a new customer is worth to the business. A better site has to be able to pay for itself.
- Whether we can visibly improve on the current site. We look at it.
- Whether the person entering can actually decide. We want to build, not chase approvals.
- Whether the business is one we want our name on. This part is our judgement and it is final.
Our decision is final and we do not enter into correspondence about it. We are not able to give feedback on individual entries.
7. What the winner gets
One website build of the type we sell at 5,000 US dollars. That is the price we charge for it. It includes:
- A website of 3 to 7 pages, designed and built for the business from scratch.
- Scroll animation and motion design throughout.
- An AI generated video for the homepage.
- All written content.
- Images sourced or created, and retouching of supplied team photos.
- Structuring so that AI search tools can read the site.
- Delivery live within 2 weeks of the date we hold everything we need from the winner.
- Full ownership of the finished site and its code on delivery, with hosting in the winner's name.
There is one prize. There is no cash alternative and the prize cannot be transferred or sold to anyone else. We cannot substitute the prize, except that if something outside our control makes it impossible to deliver, we may offer a prize of equal or greater value.
8. What the prize does not include
- Domain name registration or renewal fees, and hosting fees after the first year.
- Paid stock licences, paid fonts, or third party software subscriptions requested by the winner.
- On site photography or video shoots, drone work, or 3D visualisation.
- Online shop functionality, booking systems, or custom software integrations.
- Ongoing changes after delivery, beyond our standard 60 days of post launch support.
- More than 7 pages, or versions of the site in more than one language.
Anything on this list can be added, and we will quote for it separately. The winner is never obliged to buy anything.
9. What we ask from the winner
Accepting the prize means agreeing to two things:
- We may show the finished website publicly as an example of our work, including the business name, in marketing, on our website, and on social media.
- You give us one honest comment about the work once it is delivered. Honest means honest. We are not asking you to praise it.
You also need to give us what we need to build it: text, logos, photos, and answers to our questions. If we do not hear from you for 30 days after the prize is awarded, we may treat the prize as declined.
10. Telling the winner
We will contact the winner using the email address and phone number given on the entry form, by the Monday after entries close. The winner has 7 days to reply and confirm they accept. If we cannot reach the winner in that time, or the winner declines, or the entry turns out to breach these rules, we may choose another winner from the remaining entries.
We will announce the winner's business name publicly. We will not publish anyone's email address, phone number, or the contents of their entry.
11. We will follow up with you
By entering you agree that we may contact you by email and by phone about your entry and about the services we offer, whether or not you win. In most cases that means a small number of emails and, sometimes, one call.
This is contact, not a condition. You are never required to buy anything, entering costs nothing, and not buying has no effect on how your entry is judged. You can tell us to stop at any time by replying to any email or writing to jakub@realbrand.cz, and we will.
12. Your details
We collect your name, business name, website address, email address, phone number, and your written answers. We use them to judge the contest and to contact you as described in section 11.
We do not sell your details and we do not pass them to anyone else for their own marketing. You can ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing jakub@realbrand.cz, and we will do it. Full detail is in our privacy policy.
13. Disqualification
We may reject or disqualify an entry that is incomplete, duplicated, automated, fraudulent, plainly not from a real trading business, or that gives false information. If a prize has already been awarded on the strength of false information, we may withdraw it.
14. Things we are not responsible for
We are not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, or not received because of a problem with the internet, your device, your email, or a third party service. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
We may cancel, suspend, or change this contest, or these rules, if something outside our reasonable control makes it necessary. If we do, we will post the change on this page. Nothing in these rules limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Not connected to any social network. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta Platforms, Inc., LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, or any other platform. Those platforms have no responsibility for it. Any questions go to us, not to them.
15. Which law applies
These rules are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, and the courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in your own country, this does not take away rights you have under the law where you live. Winners are responsible for any tax due on the prize where they live.
